What materials are your jewelry made of?

Our jewellery is crafted using natural freshwater pearls, natural gemstones, and 18K gold plating over solid 925 sterling silver. Each design is thoughtfully created to highlight the organic beauty of baroque pearls and the unique character of natural stones.

As we work with genuine natural materials, slight variations in shape, colour, texture, and size are expected. These distinctions make every piece truly one of a kind.

Are your pearls real?

Yes. We use authentic natural freshwater pearls in all our designs. As pearls are formed by nature, no two are identical. Variations in shape, lustre, tone, and surface texture are entirely natural and part of their beauty.

Are your gemstones natural?

Yes. Selected designs feature natural gemstones. Each stone is uniquely formed by nature, meaning variations in colour, pattern, clarity, and texture are expected. These characteristics define the individuality of every piece.

2. Precious Metals

What does 18K gold plated mean?

Our 18K gold plated pieces feature a 925 sterling silver base, finished with a layer of 18K gold for a refined, luminous appearance.

Over time, gold plating may naturally soften or fade depending on wear and exposure to water, sweat, perfume, lotions, and other elements. Gentle care will help preserve its finish.

What is the remaining 7.5% in 925 sterling silver?

925 sterling silver is composed of 92.5% pure silver, with the remaining 7.5% typically made up of metals such as copper, and in some cases small amounts of zinc or nickel.

These alloys are added to strengthen the silver, ensuring durability and suitability for everyday wear.

3. Wear & Care

Can I wear your jewelry in water?

We recommend avoiding water exposure to preserve the integrity of your jewellery. Please keep your pieces away from water, sweat, perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals.

We suggest removing jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising, or washing hands. After wear, gently clean with a soft cloth and store in a dry place.

Will your jewelry tarnish or fade?

As with most gold-plated jewellery, natural wear over time may lead to gradual fading or tarnishing depending on usage and care.

Exposure to moisture, air, sweat, and chemicals may accelerate this process. Proper care and storage will help maintain its beauty for longer.

Care Instructions

To preserve your jewellery, gently polish with a soft cloth after wear. Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, cleaning products, water, creams, and perfumes.

Jewellery Storage

Store your Meise Beauty pieces in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Humidity and heat may affect the finish over time.

For best preservation, we recommend keeping each piece in its jewellery box when not in use.

4. Skin & Wearability

Is your jewelry hypoallergenic?

Our jewellery is crafted with 18K gold plating over sterling silver, which is generally well tolerated by many wearers.

However, as skin sensitivity varies, we cannot guarantee all pieces are hypoallergenic, particularly for those with metal allergies or highly sensitive skin.

Why does my jewelry look slightly different from the photos?

As we use natural freshwater pearls and gemstones, each piece carries its own unique character.

Subtle variations in shape, colour, and texture are natural and expected. These differences are part of what makes every design unique.

6. Product Safety

Do you test for nickel, lead, and cadmium?

Yes. Product safety is a priority at Meise Beauty.

Where applicable, metal components undergo quality checks and, when required, third-party testing for nickel release, lead, and cadmium.

Our quality control includes material selection, production monitoring, and final inspection before dispatch. Selected pieces may also include IGI certification or verification where applicable.
